Christmas Parade!

One day out of the year, a ton of people gather on the streets of Marion and wave to those going by in the street. If you think about it, the concept of a parade is kinds funny...but it is sooo much fun! This year we brought out Chris's old Truck and participated in the Marion Christmas Parade! It was wonderful to see so many people come out for the parade and we could not have asked for a better day! Little Bobby joined us as well and was a big hit with the little kids! :) The truck we drove was passed down to Chris by his grandfather. His great grandfather bought it brand new in 1940 for $749! We have the bill of sale. This truck was Chris's grandfather's baby. We had worked on restoring it for years, but never got it back running again before he passed. Chris and I got it back and running 3 years ago (with the help of a restoration place we found)!
